How to Buy an AAC device

We have a straightforward process to help you find and buy the right communication aid. If you have any questions about this process, please get in touch.

Assessments

If you would like to look at possible solutions and see how your client interacts with our range of AAC devices, you can request a virtual or in-person assessment with Safe Care Technologies. If you are unsure of what access method is required, we can provide different solutions from eye-gaze, switch and other alternative access options. We have representatives who travel nationwide to help you decide on the most suitable device for you or your client.

To organise an assessment, please complete the form here.

Request a Trial Device

When you have decided on a possible AAC solution for your client, you can request a free two-week trial of one of our communication devices. This will range from our Eye Gaze and multi-access devices as well as a range of accessories, including keyguards. If you require a table stand or floor stand, we can supply this also.

If you would like to request a trial device, please complete our trial request form.

Visit the Communications product page for a full list of our touch and eye-gaze devices.

Place your order

If your client is purchasing privately or self-funding, we require written confirmation that they wish to go ahead with the product by email, and we will then order this for you.

The products will be with us within 3/4weeks. Once we receive your products, we will contact you for payment and ship your order to you by courier.

If you are applying for funding, this can be done through relevant bodies. An application can be sent to the Dept of Health / Dept of Education or other bodies and, if successful, the funding will come straight to Safe Care Technologies, and we will order the equipment.

Setup and training

If you requested setup and training in your quotation, we will organise one of our representatives to come out to your home, school or centre to assist and get you set up.

If you would prefer to do the training remotely, we can organise that for you also.

We continually run training events and webinars and have a well-resourced Knowledge Bank to provide ongoing support and assistance in your AAC journey.
