The SHX technology has been designed with an aim of providing users with a real immersive experience in the multi-sensory environment.

The system allows you to enjoy the multiple effects in the room and activate them at different or the same time, according to the user’s activities. The room is filled with various elements, including pictures, videos, lighting, music, sound, vibrations, bubble tubes, fibre optic and much more. Therefore, making the possibilities of configurations unlimited!

Elements to create your custom SHX Room system

1. SHX Central System

Includes the main components as well as a ceiling projector, sound system and a tablet with the SHX software. The SHX software can be used to control the room and features projectable scenes and suggested content for including in therapy sessions.

2. Access Methods

This is required for controlling your device and elements. Though the system comes with a tablet, you can purchase additional access methods like the Button 6, SHX mat, SHX die etc. The SHX system is also compatible with eye-gaze software, including Communicator 5 and Grid 3 for eye-gaze users.

3. Lighting Elements

Lighting devices for sensory environments are versatile, scalable, immersive and full of therapeutic opportunities. Devices such as the bubble tube, fibre optics, Luminea curtain, Luminea lamp, etc., allow the user to take control of the light with the controller they prefer. Therefore, they don’t only get a look and feel, of the environment, but also act and experience the cause-effect.
